The first answer is D. The padded webbing on their feet works much like a flipper would and helps them to move faster, by allowing them to move more water.
The second is B. Like pine trees most desert plants have spines so that they can retain as much water as possible.
The third is A. Not only are they sharp, but the way in which the jagged edges on their teeth lines up allows them to interlock to keep their prey from getting away.
