The maximum value of g(x) is -1 (looking at the table, is the higher number for the g(x) entry), and the minimum value of f(x) is -3 (looking at the graph is the lower y/f(x) you can point on it). So, the maximum value of g(x) is indedd greater than the minimum value of f(x).
