As a manager in the healthcare field, you have been informed that an employee is posting patient photos on social media. While it may seem harmless if a name is not mentioned, someone may recognize the patient and know the doctor's specialty. What action would you take to resolve this issue? What preventative measures would you take to keep your practice in compliance

This is in clear and direct violation of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996). You could of course keep whoever this is employed, however depending on the how many times he/she has done this, they are now unfortunately a liability and are most likely candidates for termination. Additionally you should have a workshop or hand out a guidebook on HIPAA.
