David, the office manager of new life healthcare facility, an audit and noticed that Jennifer, a new hire responsible for patient billing, had undercharged 50 Medicare patients for their coinsurance due to a mistake in her calculations.all had paid the amount they were billed, some more than 60 days before. what do you think David should do,in regards to the patient who were incorrectly sent a statement? and why?

I think that David should inform the patients of the mistake that was made and ask for the missing balance and apologize on behalf of the office. I think this is the best decision because otherwise the office will be working at a loss, and I figure that the doctors need to be paid a certain amount. Fifty people seems like a lot to take a loss for.
