False The united nations is made up of member countries with their own individual military force and these are not automatically the military force of the United Nations itself. Fighting forces of a United Nations peace keeping mission is often a member state that have voluntarily agreed to send some of it's troop to a troubled area under the guideline and agreed code of engagement of the United Nations which is to bring peace to a war torn country.
