Expand 9t - (3t + 3): 6t - 3
6t - 3 = 1
Add 3 to both sides
6t - 3 + 3 = 1 + 3
Simplify 6t = 4
Divide both sides by 6
6t/6 = 4/6
Simplify t = 2/3
