Step-by-step explanation:

After a huracane or tornado the balance or homeostasis of the ecosystem will be very damaged. Biotic (all living organisms) and abiotic (non-living organisms) will be detroyed, killed, relocated and /or lost. Due to this situation, it will take a while for the ecosystem to recover.

Depending on the damage of the natural disaster and the capacity of recovery ( resilence), this ecosystem will take long time or short time in being recuperated. In terms of nature, primary species will arrive first, then secondary, and this "re-poblation" will promote the recuperation of the ecosystem.
