In about one hundred words state the three actions conjunctive adverbs can perform in a sentence. Write a correctly punctuated example of each, using a conjunctive adverb from the list in the lesson above.

Their three uses are: joining adverbs, joining clauses, and joining phrases. Since i cannot see your examples i will make 2 of my own. "The inspector said it was a crime According to recent evidence, however, The inspector didn't gather enough evidence to prove his statement." Note the words in bold. These are our conjunctive adverbs.

in a sentence, conjunctive adverbs can be very useful in a paragraph or an essay. Authors tend to use these a lot since they add interest in the story and keep it a bit more advanced but not too wacky. Their three uses are: joining adverbs, joining clauses, and joining phrases. Since i cannot see your examples i will make 2 of my own.
