9.75 because when you add 4.50 and 12.50 you'll get 16.75. Then you add 6.00 and 1.75 and get 7.75. Then you take 16 and minus it by 7 and you'll get 9 and now you add
.75 to the 9 and you'll get 9.75

the cost through each website is a linear equation (y = mx+b).
Slope (m) is a rate and the fees are the y-intercept (b).
website A.
y = 4.5x + 12.25
website B.
y = 6x + 1.75
set the cost (y) equal and solve for the number of tickets (x).
6x + 1.75 = 4.5x + 12.25
6x - 4.5x = 12.25 - 1.75
1.5x = 10.5
x = 10.5/1.5
x = 7
