Explain if the triangles are similar using AA-, SSS-, or SAS-. If they are similar, how do you know they are similar? (Explain your reasoning using evidence like a paragraph proof NOT a rigid motion proof!)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the sides at the top are formed by the same segment MQ and sides CM and RP are parallel, then angles Since we have the lengths of two pairs of corresponding sides and the included angle we can use SAS postulate. The angle is congruent and the ratios between corresponding sides:

\begin{gathered} (36)/(22)=(18)/(11) \\ (54)/(33)=(18)/(11) \end{gathered}

The ratios are the same. Therefore the triangles are similar

Answer:

Triangles are similar
