John and Mary were on the floor. Glass was also on the floor. Mary was dead.

What happened?

Mary fell on glass and she died.
Not sure if this is the correct answer. Only a guess☺

Mary was a fish and John was a cat. John pounced at Mary, in a fishbowl hence the glass, and without the air Mary died.
