people in CHina also used to trust each other to a large degree, but since western influence krept in, people are developing huge trust issues. counterfiting money found its way into China via taiwan. before the taiwanese started to come back, counterfit was not a problem. there are many other bad habits brought in from the west, but it mostly has to do with cheating, greed, betrayal, selfishness, and dishonesty.
