Equation 1) y - 3x = 2
Equation 2) 2y - 6x = 2

Rearrange both equations so that it is standard form (Ax+Bx=C)

1) -3x + y = 2
2) -6x + 2y = 2

Then, multiply ALL of equation 1 by two.

1) 2(-3x + y = 2)

Simplify.

1) -6x + 2y = 4
2) -6x + 2y = 2

Subtract equations from one another.

0 = 2

Therefore there are no solutions for this system of equations.

~Hope I helped!~
