In these lines Beouwulf can be characterized as a hero due to the fact that he is vowing justance and revenge for the imoral acts that grendal commited. And he is mainly stateing that he is ready to confront Grendel for what he did . For instance he says "The Weders avenged (woes had they suffered) Enemies ravaged; alone now with Grendel I shall manage the matter, with the monster of evil, The giant, decide it."
