8 apples cost $ 4.....so 4/8 = 0.5....so each apple cost 0.5 (or 50 cents a piece
so 9 apples would cost you : 9 * 0.50 = $ 4.50 <=

u would do 4/8 to get the unit price and that would be 0.5 so than u would multiply 0.5 to 9 and the answer will be $4.5
