Much less energy is released duringanaerobic respiration than during aerobicrespiration. This is because the breakdown of glucose is incomplete. Anaerobic respiration produces an oxygen debt. This is the amount of oxygen needed to oxidise lactic acid to carbon dioxide and water

Anaerobic exercise or activity is doing physical activity without oxygen. Anaerobic activity
Produces little ATP energy and gives toxic chemicals instead. Causes cramps and huffing and puffing
