Where did the demand for national prohibition originate?

National Prohibition to a great extent began from requests of the ladies' development and Protestant houses of worship. The National Prohibition Act, referred to casually as the Volstead Act, was authorized to do the goal of the eighteenth Amendment, which set up restriction in the United States.
