Why did some women believe they should have the right to vote?

They believed that they had the same say as men and that their opinions matter. They thought they deserved a voice in creating their society too.

Women believed they should have the right to vote because they believed they were equal to their male counterparts.

For many years, women were not allowed to vote, only men. This was a based on the belief that women didn't have enough knowledge or importance when it came to important matters such as politics.

After fighting fiercely, women were finally granted the right to vote, which was a great advancement in both civil rights and gender equality.
