y-6=5(x-1)
y-6=5x-5
y=5x+1 <—that is the answer

Since it's parallel to y=5-3x, it has the same steepness and slope (-3). So far we have y=-3x+b. Now, input (1,6) into the equation to find b. 6=-3(1)+b. 6=-3+b. 6+3=b. 9=b. So the equation is y=-3x+9
