Answer: Fourth option is correct.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

x+4y=25.50------------------(1)\\\\3x+2y=24.00-----------------------(2)

Here, x is the number of strawberry smoothies.

and y is the number of protein shakes.

So, using elimination method, we get that,

Multiplying 2 by eq(2), we get that

6x+4y=48---------------(3)

From eq(1) and (3), we have

x+4y=25.50\\\\6x+4y=48\\\\-----------------------------------\\\\-5x=-22.5\\\\x=(22.5)/(5)\\\\x=4.5

Put the value of x in eq(1), we get that

4.50+4y=25.50\\\\4y=25.50-4.50\\\\4y=21\\\\y=(21)/(4)\\\\y=5.25

Hence, the price of protein shake is $5.25.

Thus, Fourth option is correct.
