Okay so in order to solve this I had to use two different equations one for final velocity and one for distance.

1) vf= vi + (a)(t)
2) d= (vi)(t)+1/2(a)(t^2)

what you are given is
vi=5m/s
t=4s
a=2m/s^2

I plugged that into the first equation to get a vf of 13m/s then plugged that into the second equation to get a distance of 36m. Hope this helped!
