make 3 1/8 into an improper fraction by multiplying 8X3 + 1 over 8= 25/8 now divide 10 into 25/8 because you want 10 equal servings. When you do this you get .3125 pounds

you have 25/8 ÷10 equal servings
= 5/16 or 0.3125 servings
