suppose r + x equals 22, then, for some real numbers, X, we have... A. r = 22 - z and s = 22 + zB. r = 11 - z and s = 11 + zC. r = 11/2 - z and s = 11/2 + zD. r = 11 - z/2 and s = 11 + z/2

Check the options to find the answer

\begin{gathered} \text{Givn r+s=22} \\ 1st\text{ option} \\ r=22-z\text{ } \\ s=22+z \\ \text{Adding both equations,} \\ r+s=44\text{ } \\ It\text{ is against given equation. So option is wrong} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \text{Option B is given as} \\ r=11-z \\ s=11+z \\ \text{Add the equations} \\ r+s=22 \\ \text{This is equal to the given equation. } \end{gathered}

Thus , option B, r=11-z and s =11+z is the answer.
