Hi. Your answer is 8. Now let me tell you how I know that...

When you are dealing with decimal place value, you simply need to know that all of the numbers to the left are classified as, ones, tens, hundred, etc. The numbers to the right of the decimal start at tenths, hundredths, thousandths, etc.
