A star's life cycle goes like this: Nebula: it is started off with gas and hydrogen then it slowly forms into a ball of light.

Star: it is now a star, it shines brightly. It produces its own heat and nuclear fusion.

Red giant: its a large bright star with a cool surface. It is growing up to be an adult.

Red drawf: They are a cool small stars that are in the sky. They burn very slowly.

White Drawf: Very small and very hot and its last stage of a life of a star. It is very cool but sadly fades away billions of years from now

Supernova: The star blows up. Aka, the death of a star.

Neutron star: This is the beginning stages of it forming into a black hole.
Black hole: it is known that a black hole is old stars that exploded.

Hope this helped :)
