Show why this statement is true: the square root of four times nine equals the square root of four times the square root of nine

√(4×9) = √ 36 = 6
now the √4 = 2
and √9 = 3
so 2×3= 6
therefore √(4×9) = √4 × √9
that's a law of surd
generally √ab = √a ×√b
