The legs of a right triangle measure 30cm and 40cm.what is the length of the hypotenuse

a²+b²=c²
30²+40²=c²
900+1600=c²
2500=c²
√2500=√c²
c=50
The hypotenuse is 50cm long.

The equation to find a hypotenuse is
A^2 + b^2=c^2

Plug in the numbers

30^2 + 40^2 = c^2

900 + 1600 =c^2

2500 = c^2

The square-root of 2500 = c

50=c

The hypotenuse of the triangle is 50
