The expression is
\displaystyle { (\displaystyle{x} ^{\displaystyle{ 16})^{\displaystyle{ (3)/(4)}.

By exponents laws, we have
\displaystyle { (a^b)^c=a^(b\cdot c). Applying this rule, we have:

\displaystyle{ (x^(\displaystyle16))^\displaystyle (3)/(4)
=\displaystyle x^{\displaystyle16\cdot \displaystyle(3)/(4) }=x^(\displaystyle4\cdot3)=x^(12)
