29,700•1.12=33,264     when adding % you just make it a decimal and add 1, if subtracting just make it negative

Explanation:

Since, the original price of the car = $ 29,700

Marked up price = 12 % greater than the original price of the car

= Original price of the car + 12% of the original price of the car

= 29700 + 12% of 29700

= 29700 + 0.12 × 29700

= 29700 + 3564

= 33264

Hence, the marked price of the car = $ 33264
