My country: India The government of India is referred to as the Democratic Republic of India. India has a multi party system. In most of the cases, the government is formed by a coalition of multiple parties. The coalition with majority forms the government. This type of governance is reflected through its colonial predecessor, the British. The prime Minister's Office is the ruling body of the government elected by party in power which directs executive decisions to the Presidential office. India has a central government with its branches of theExecutive, the Legislative and the Judiciary. It is also vertically divided as Central, State, District level.
