When a fire clears out a forest, basically it destroys the homes of animals and forces them to move to another place, that is if they even survive. However, I think that the ground will be kind of fertilized by the ash or whatever's left behind which is one of the reasons why people will often burn fields or their yards. At least that's what I was told.
Human deforestation is worse because those trees won't grow back. They're cut down, and sometimes uprooted and human deforestation is the main reason why rainforests are in danger.
