(4/5)x - 2 > (3/10)(2x)

Mult. all terms by 10 to elim. fractions:

8x - 20 > 6x

Then 2x = 20, and x = 10. Your answer should be x > 10. It's essential that you check this result, however, just in case the answer is x < 10.
