The price of the book case before sales tax is 347.76 . First you multiply 378 x .08 =30.24
Then you subtract: 378-30.24= 347.76

would be your answer, you first need to find 8% of 378 which was 30.24 then you need to subtract that from 378 and that gives you your answer!
