Heinrich Kramer and Jacob Sprenger --- published Malleus Maleficarum
-The Malleus Maleficarum is the most famous book on witchcraft, probably written in 1486 and published in 1487, becoming the indispensable manual and the final authority for the Inquisition, for judges, magistrates, and both Catholic and Protestant priests, over the three centuries following its publication, in the fight against witchcraft in Europe.
Pope Paul IV --- published the Index Librorum Prohibitorum
-The Index Librorum Prohibitorum (in English Index of forbidden books) is a list of those publications that the Catholic Church cataloged as pernicious books for the faith; it also established, in its first part, the norms of the Church with respect to the censorship of books.
