No, it's not. There's no evidence that the so-called "easy way out" really is going to be the most appropriate approach. Moreso, it could happen that the approach that seemed at first to be the easiest and quickest way to resolve a problem is instead a source for more problems and difficulties that a more methodical approach could have avoided.

that statement is false.
in the form of evidence-based decision making, the final decision should be based on analytical approach to upperhand the situation and see the most logical solution.
In the process, the most logical solution often not the easy one and often require a huge amount of sacrifice but it will provide us with the most rewards
