How do you solve this 2 step equation: 8+b/-4=5

8+b/4=5

subtract 8 from both sides

b/4=-3

multiply each side by 4

b=-12

Subtract 8 from both sides
8+b/-4=5
-8 -8
b/-4=-3
And multiply by -4
(-4)b/-4=-3(-4)
And the answer which is b=12
