The correct answer is C. personification.
It means that non-human items/ideas/organisms are given human qualities. So here, words such as Remorse and Cowardice are considered to be human even though they are ideas.
Hyperbole is exaggeration; simile is when you compare things using words like or as; metaphor is when you compare things without those words.
