first, we find the unit rate...
centerpieces / hr : 15/5 = 3 centerpieces per hr
for 42 centerpieces...
42/3 = 14 hrs <==

If you are making 15 center pieces per hour, then you are making 3 per hour.
15/5 = 3
Then you divide how many centerpieces you are making by 3.
42/3 = 14
It will take you 14 hours to make 42.
