the x intercept is when y=0
6x+0=-12
x=-2, now you have point A with coordinates (-2, 0)
The y intercept is when x=0
0+2y=-12
y=-6, so you have another point with coordinates (0, -6)
Connect those two points, you have your graph. It is a line.
