American revolution

The American Revolution, or the American War of Independence, was the struggle for independence between the years 1775 - 1783 between 13 colonies in Great Britain and North America. The colonies published the American Declaration of Independence and they became independent by introducing their independence with Parisian style. As a result of this struggle, the United States was established and the first president of the state was George Washinghton.

The French Revolution or the French Revolution is the name given to the process of social and political developments that began in France in 1789 and ended in 1799. The French Revolution is a process which is partly continued with Napoleon. As a result of the French Revolution, the French Empire was overthrown and the Republic of France was founded. During the French Revolution there were violent political debates and the process reached its peak with the Napoleon dictatorship. Napoleon brought the principles that emerged with the French Revolution to Western Europe and beyond. Influenced by liberal and radical ideas, the French Revolution also changed the course of Contemporary History.

The American Revolution was correct.

Reason:
American Revolution: They were fighting against Britain, who were imposing excessive amounts of taxes on them. They not only followed on their cause, but united together to fight off the british. At the end, they were able to help construct a country for which we have today. It was mostly a constructive way, and we were able to set up a democratic government that still exists today.

French Revolution: The French on the other hand, while it brought a stage of "half-democracy, half-totalitarian", it was really chaotic. There were mass hangings and usage of Guillotines, and many people who were innocent were killed, only because they didn't support the Revolution as much. This Revolution also led to large amounts of European wars. While it did allow Napoleon to rise to power and be able to change the French to a growing power, in the end, many people died, with more rules imposed. Sure, it brought on changes (good and bad), but it helped the monarchy's be firmly settled for the years to come. (based on the Treaty of Paris, which firmly put monarchies in place). The European area was thrown into a state of disorder, and there wouldn't be a long standing peace after that for awhile.
