Hi. In order to have an indirect object, you must have an object. The way I was taught to find the indirect object is below. I hope it helps.

1. Find the Verb = brought
2.Ask yourself, "What" = guidebook (direct object)
3. Who or What received the object = me (indirect object)

So your answer is "C".

Take care,
Diana
