8 up, 4 over. 8/4 or 2 is your slope.

'Ello.

Formula for slope: y2-y1/x2-x1
Plug in the values.
2 -(-6)/2-(-2) = 8/4 = 4/2 = 2
Sooo, the slope = 2

You're welcome, cupcake.
