When Barney was giving his speech and discussing each slide he was only giving definitions, symptoms, risks associated with the animal-borne diseases and treatment. This was not an effective strategy for Barney or for his class/listeners. Barney should have given pictures along with the slides so that everyone could see what the diseases looked like. Pictures also help people to have a better understanding of what they are learning/hearing.
