Is the graph of a function that relates a squares side length to its perimeter continuous or discrete

Side length can be written not only as integer, but also as mixed number, or fraction, so this quantity is continuous.

Examples of "discrete" would be {1, 5, 7, 8, 11, ...}: all integer!
