R=B-A

Given,

A=32\pm2\text{ seconds}
B=11\pm3\text{ seconds}
\Delta R=\Delta B+\Delta A

the uncertainty in A is

\Delta A=\pm2

The uncertainty in B is,

\Delta B=\pm3

The uncertainty in R is,

\begin{gathered} \Delta R=\pm(2+3) \\ =\pm5 \end{gathered}

Hence the uncertainty in R is

+-5.
