an athlete who would like to optimize endurance performance would do well eating what type of diet?What is the metabolic pathway being used and why would this diet benefit them?

well i am an athlete so u can eat no carbs no sugary drinks and don't eat after midnight u gain wait if u eat after midnight. i for one hate carbs but this can also make u lose wait and try not to eat a lot of dairy it will mess ur stomach up when u practice or what ever.
