Describe a situation in which the displacement f a roller skater is 0 km, but the distance traveled is 2 km.

Skate to the grocery store, 1 km from home. Buy bread, milk, and a newspaper. Skate back home.

Displacement is the final distance subtracted by the initial distance covered. Distance is the total covered distance, even if they return back to where they began.

For example, it is possible to roller skate around a circular running track that is 2 km long, having a distance of 2 km but a displacement of 0 km.
