Stella was incorrect. She did not multiply 24 feet by 12inches to see how many inches in feet she has total. There are 288 inches in 12 feet, plus the 6 inches is 294 inches. Stella divided the conversion factor instead of multiplying, giving her 2 inches, then added the extra 6 inches giving her 8 inches.
