"Three times a number increased by eleven is seventeen" translates to which of the following equations?

11x + 3 = 17
11x - 3 = 17

the third equation is correct!

let x be the number,

3 times the number would be: 3x

increased by 11 would be: + 11

so its 3x+11=17!

Hope this helps!

Hello There!

It would be 3x + 11 = 17 where x is the missing value.
If you were to solve it x = 2.

Hope This Helps You!
Good Luck :)
