We have to find the line with slope m = 4 and that passes through (-4,2).

We can start then with the slope-point form of the line and then rearrange it to the general form:

\begin{gathered} y-y_0=m(x-x_0) \\ y-2=4(x-(-4)) \\ y-2=4(x+4) \\ y-2=4x+16 \\ -4x+y-2-16=0 \\ -4x+y-18=0 \\ 4x-y+18=0 \end{gathered}

Answer: the general form of the line is 4x - y + 18 = 0.
